I was inspired by the way someone in a gallery somewhere on elfwood drew this dress. Sorry I really can't remember who it way. I just remember thinking... this dress looks like glass. Then I thought, what if someone would wear a dress of glass that was starting to crack... that is how I came up with this pic. It's not brilliant, but I like the concept (if I say so myself) LOL, so here it is. Lemme know what you think!!

LOL!! When I saw the title, I instantly thought "Cracking up, as in laughing?" Funny funny. Anywho, I love this. It almost looks like an elven version of cinderella, and instead of a glass slipper it's her whole dress! LOL!! And she loses her dress! Ok, don't pay attention to my demented mind please ^_^;;

I want that dress! though preferably it would be a little more flexible and not start cracking.

Glass dress: $300. Glass slippers: $99. Look on boyfriend's face when. . . well, you know. . . : priceless. Hehe, nice pic, great expression on her face, I love it. It's like ... "oooh this would make a great Visa commercial, but my dress is starting to crack!" Sorry. Had to be silly. Yeah. Cool pic.

Heh heh heh ... "And with a final flourish of the magic wand, a mgnificent ball gown spun of glass materialised around Cinderella.
'Um, Fairy Godmother? I don't think it was meant to be this way ... for a start dancing isn't going to be easy and when I run down the steps of the palace at midnight I have no intention of leaving it behind so the prince'll be able to track me down...' "
That's a beautiful dress! It's great how it appears transparent but not embarrassingly (?) so for the wearer. I reckon the cracks were carefully designed, engineered and positioned for extra elegance. well done!
The fairygodmother smiled wickedly... "You thought I was your fairygodmother, did you?", she hissed, "Wrong deary, I'm your fairyMADAM... and you are going to make me some big bucks tonight, young lady... now go to that ball and shake it around a little will ya?!!"
